Abstract: Combustion is the main energy source in the world. More than 80% of the global primary energy supply comes from the combustion of fossil fuels. Therefore, it plays an irreplaceable role in many core fields such as energy, transportation, national defense, industry and so on. This report will introduce the photoionization mass spectrometry technology and its application in combustion kinetics research, including Flow Reactor Pyrolysis, Jet Stirred Flow Reactor (JSFR), Laminar Diffusion Flames, and the development of Kinetic Model. Besides, it will introduce the Laser Diagnostic Technology, which can be used to study the turbulent flame structure and combustion instability, and discuss its development trend.
