“Meeting of the Application of Opposed Multi-burner Coal Water Slurry Gasification Technology 2019” was successfully held by ECUST and Yanzhou Mining Group in Zhenzhou, Henan province during September 18-20, 2019.
More than 180 user representatives of the opposed multi-burner coal water slurry gasification technology, coal chemical companies and engineering companies and 10 teachers including Professor Li Weifeng from the Institute of Clean Coal Technology Research in ECUST attended the meeting. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yu Guangsuo, director of the Institute of Clean Coal Technology Research. Wang Fuchen, professor in ECUST, Xu Guangyu, general manager of Shandong Guotuo Science Co., Ltd., and Wang Pingbiao, deputy general manager of Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Industry Group Co., Ltd. delivered speeches respectively.
Representatives from 20 units presented their reports, introduced the overall situation of their devices since they were put into operation, exchanged their experiences in device operation and technical improvement and optimization measures of the devices, and shared valuable experiences in construction, operation and management.
Professor Li Weifeng also delivered a report themed “Researches and Progresses on Opposed Multi-burner Coal Water Slurry Gasification Technology”, highlighting the latest development in basic research of coal gasification technology, large gasification technology and Gasification technology of waste boiler with chilling in ECUST.
“Opposed Multi-burner Coal Water Slurry Gasification Technology” developed by our school and Yanzhou Mining Group has been widely used in about 160 gasifiers in 58 enterprises all over the world. Among them, the largest one can deal with 4000 ton coal per day and will be put into use in October, 2019.
At present, 75 gasifiers of 28 projects have been in operation. They represent the international leading position of opposed multi-burner coal water slurry gasification technology and all the devices meet the standard of “safe, stable, durable, effective and excellent”. As a result, they have generated high profits for the enterprises.
