Gao Honglin was one of the new counselors of this year. She communicated with students based on her own job-hunting experience, and used real cases and practical experience to guide students to customize their resumes according to the demands of different enterprises. She taught students to create a good resume following the STAR principle. And comparing with the students’ previous resumes, she concluded the characteristics of excellent resumes in detail. Gao Honglin said that it was only the first step of job hunting to create a competitive resume, and she put forward higher requirements for students in preparing for the online applications. There were several key points in online applications such as a clear goal of job hunting, a clear understanding of the requirements of the jobs and a clear understanding of own advantages and disadvantages. Under Gao Honglin’s guidance, on-site students all created their own resumes. Later, Gao Honglin introduced the job-hunting skills and the subsequent series of job-hunting guided activities.
