Peng Xin introduced the overall development orientation and current situation of Shandong Lukang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., focusing on the corporate concept of sustainable development and the challenges it faces in terms of environmental safety; Xiu Guangli introduced the professional characteristics, discipline composition and main research achievements of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, focusing on exchanging policy standards and technological progress in air pollution control in the pharmaceutical industry and emerging pollutant control; both parties reached a consensus on conducting regular exchanges in aspects such as talent cultivation, employment and internship, and scientific and technological cooperation. Subsequently, both parties signed the joint training agreement for full-time professional degree postgraduates between the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, and Shandong Lukang Zhonghe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Afterwards, the delegation from the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering visited the Life Science Experience Hall of Lukang Pharmaceutical, went to the Lukang Pharmaceutical production base in Zoucheng Industrial Park to visit Shandong Lukang Zhonghe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., investigated the site of waste gas treatment facilities, and held in-depth discussions with Shandong Lukang Zhonghe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. on technical exchanges in aspects such as odor control, wastewater treatment, emerging pollutant treatment and solid waste resource utilization. Deputy General Manager Dai Yongfang introduced the pain points and bottlenecks of the company's current environmental protection treatment technologies. Xiu Guangli shared experience in VOCs and odor treatment, emerging pollutant control and other aspects in combination with the work on the technical specification for air pollution prevention and control in the pharmaceutical industry under the Yangtze River Delta integration and the Shanghai municipal discharge standard for water pollutants from the pharmaceutical industry, and put forward suggestions for technological improvement, laying a foundation for subsequent technical cooperation.
