The School of Resources and Environmental Engineering Held 2026 Alumni Liaison Symposium

On April 18, the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering organized the 2026 symposium for alumni class liaisons returning to campus in anniversary years. Representatives of alumni class liaisons who graduated 10, 20, 30 and 40 years ago attended the symposium for exchanges. Xiu Guangli, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Cao Na, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Li Jiahui, Alumni Affairs Specialist, were present at the symposium. The venue was filled with warmth and a lively atmosphere. 

On behalf of the school, Xiu Guangli extended a warm welcome to all the alumni liaisons and expressed gratitude for the alumni's long-term support and assistance to the various work of the school. He reviewed the development history of the school, and introduced the current development situation and future development plan of the school. Cao Na gave a detailed introduction to the organization of the school's alumni association, the implementation of alumni work, the fund raising situation and the future development plan for alumni work, and warmly welcomed alumni to return to the campus to renew their friendship and seek common development. 


 

Alumni Wang Tingzhang from the class of 1986, Qiu Xinyao, Zhang Jinyi, Ni Haihua and Li Haitao from the class of 1996, Hua Wen and Wang Peifei from the class of 2006, and Chen Hui from the class of 2016 spoke one after another, expressing their feelings about the changes over the years and the new look of the campus. They recalled the wonderful memories of their school days in detail. They also stated that they will definitely perform their duties as liaisons well, actively build a communication bridge between the school and alumni, and contribute to the development of the university and the school. The alumni also put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on how to further strengthen the connection between alumni and the school and promote exchanges and cooperation. 

This alumni exchange meeting is not only a warm reunion spanning years, but also a gathering of efforts to seek common development. In the future, the school will continue to pool the strength of alumni, optimize the talent training system, deepen industry collaborative innovation, and join hands with the vast number of alumni to contribute to the construction of ecological civilization and the green development of energy.
